Grade 8: £39,324 - £46,924 with a discretionary range to £51,260 p.a.
The Faculty, in association with Magdalen College and St Edmund Hall, are seeking to appoint a Departmental Lecturer for 3 years from 1 October 2017.

The post will involve advanced teaching and academic research in Spanish literature, language, and linguistics. The postholder will be required to give no fewer than 24 lectures in each academic year in Spanish Medieval Literature and in the History of the Spanish Language; and an average of 9 weighted hours (equivalent to approximately 7 contact hours) per week of term in Spanish Literature and Spanish Language and Linguistics.

Applicants must possess a good undergraduate degree, and a Master's degree, and have submitted a doctorate thesis in Spanish by 1 August 2017. They should be fluent in Spanish and English with excellent teaching ability.
