The Department of World Languages and Literature invites applicants for a One-Year, Full-Time Lecturer position to teach in the area of Spanish, beginning Fall 2017. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to teaching four courses per semester at the beginning and intermediate levels. Candidates are expected to collaborate in creating materials to enhance the Spanish curriculum as well as to attract and retain students.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Spanish applied linguistics, second language acquisition, Hispanic Studies, or a related area. A Ph.D. is preferred. The applicants should also have native or near-native competency in Spanish and English, as well as experience teaching at the College level. Use of technology for language learning is also necessary.
