The School of Modern Languages wishes to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Spanish Linguistics for 12 months from September 2017. You will be expected to deliver two existing modules (World Spanish and Spanish and Romance Word Analysis), and to contribute to the first-year Introduction to Linguistics module. You will also take on undergraduate-related administrative roles, and may be required to deliver language teaching in Spanish.

You must hold a first degree in a subject area relevant to the role, and hold or have nearly completed a PhD in a relevant subject area. You will also have experience of undergraduate teaching in Spanish Studies. You must have native or near-native fluency in both Spanish and English and the qualities required to provide excellent teaching to undergraduates and postgraduates.
