The Department of Modern Languages invites applications for an adjunct position in Spanish. This position involves teaching three sections of elementary Spanish during the fall semester.

This position offers emerging scholars an opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience in a small college setting, including the chance to collaborate with other instructors and receive feedback on their teaching from faculty members in the Department of Modern Languages. The Department will also offer support for the instructors in the form of an orientation session in late August. In addition, instructors will meet occasionally with a course supervisor from the Department to review course plans, discuss materials, and review issues that may arise.

Applicants should have a Master's degree or above, experience teaching Spanish (at the college level or equivalent), and near-native or native fluency in Spanish.

Please submit a letter of interest, current curriculum vitae, and the names of 1-2 teaching references in the "Resume Upload" section.

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Apply soon for best consideration. If you have any questions, please contact Prof. Gregory Baer, Chair of the Department of Modern Languages, at
