We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Spanish whose teaching and research expertise is in Latin American literature. The appointee will teach Spanish language and Hispanic culture at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum.

This a full-time (35 hours per week) post and is available for a fixed-term period of 9 months from 1st September 2018 to 31st May 2019.

Salary: £32,548 to £38,833 per annum.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed for the Job
- Appropriate degree, normally a PhD or equivalent
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Teaching experience appropriate to the applicant?s career stage, and evidence of ability in relation to teaching on undergraduate programmes, indicative of commitment to, and potential for, excellence in teaching.
- Excellent communication skills ? verbal, written, online and face-to-face.
- Evidence of self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collegially, managing and prioritising within a varied workload.

- Relevant administrative experience;
- Knowledge of Portuguese and Lusophone culture.
