Assistant Professor of Spanish in Mexican literature and culture, with the ability to teach different periods of Latin American literature and culture. Candidates who can enhance the Department?s commitment to diversity and inclusion through teaching, research, and service are encouraged to apply. This is an entry-level, tenure-track position, to begin August 16, 2019. The successful candidate will be appointed untenured at the rank of Assistant Professor.

Required Job Qualifications
Ph.D. in Hispanic literature/culture, or equivalent, in hand at time of appointment; research and dissertation focus in modern Mexican literature and/or culture; demonstrated record or evidence of scholarly potential in the area of concentration; teaching experience or evidence of strong teaching potential; ability to teach a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses; fluent or near-fluency in Spanish and English.
