Community College of Denver is seeking individuals with demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive learning and work environment. CCD values the ability to work effectively with students, families, faculty, instructors and staff of diverse backgrounds.

Preliminary screening will be made on the basis of completed application package submitted by candidate. Completed application package includes: a letter of interest of no more than five pages, addressing in general the items under "Primary Duties" and specifically each item under ?Minimum Qualifications?; an online application; resume; and transcripts. All candidates, including current Community College of Denver employees must submit a complete application packet which includes all material listed above.

Master's degree in Spanish or a Master?s degree in a related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in Spanish. The following degrees will be accepted as related: M.A. in Spanish, M.A. in Foreign/Modern/World Languages with emphasis in Spanish, M.A. in Foreign/Modern/World* Language Teaching or Pedagogy with emphasis in Spanish, or M.A. in Bilingual Education with emphasis in Spanish.

One (1) year teaching in the Spanish discipline.
Demonstrated experience teaching diverse, multi-cultural populations (i.e. first generation, low income, minority, non-traditional, veteran, students with accommodation needs, etc.).

Native or near native fluency in Spanish and English.
Demonstrated skills of effective collaboration with peers in a collegial manner.
