The Department of Spanish at the College of the Holy Cross seeks a dynamic, tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in 20th/21st-century Spanish-speaking Caribbean literature and cultural production, beginning in August 2026.
The successful candidate will regularly teach courses across the Spanish curriculum, including language courses at the 100 or 200 level, as well as composition and conversation, culture, literature, and advanced seminars in their areas of expertise, all with a strong commitment to inclusive pedagogies. Additionally, they will contribute to the Latin American, Latinx, and Caribbean Studies (LALC) program and other interdisciplinary programs at the College.

While the position emphasizes the Hispanophone Caribbean, comparative approaches encompassing other Caribbean linguistic or geographical regions are also encouraged.
