About the School
Baleares International College (BIC) https://balearesint.net/campuses/sa-porassa-campus is the largest British owned school in Mallorca, providing education based on the English National Curriculum to 485 students (from 5 to 18) in Sa Porrassa, a very accessible but beautiful rural area, adjacent to the south west coast of Mallorca. We are accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Education, based upon inspection and recommendation by the British Council, and are a founding member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS). The school is also a member of COBIS, the Council of British International Schools.
About the Opportunity
This exciting opportunity is to join the modern foreign languages team, the largest team in the school. The team is a very strong one, with a wealth of experience, evidenced by excellent exam results, high expectations, superb subject knowledge and close collaboration. The team comprises of teachers of Spanish, Catalan, French and German. As an international school, the teaching of languages is at the heart of our curriculum, and Spanish is compulsory for all students from Years 1 through to 11, as well as being chosen for A'level.

Requisitos
- Good honours degree, with post-graduate qualification in education (PGCE or equivalent)
- Expert knowledge and understanding of their core subject areas
- UK Qualified Teacher Status
- Relevant and up to date experience of developing and delivering an excellent curriculum
- Experience in delivering excellence and achieving outstanding outcomes in teaching and learning
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative with high levels of resilience and flexibility
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal
