We are looking to welcome an innovative and vibrant full-time Teacher of Spanish to join our thriving MFL department in our inclusive and friendly 11-16 community school.
The Modern Foreign Languages Department at Wapping High is an established and successful curriculum area in the school. Staff work collaboratively and share resources and are also encouraged to continue their professional development as they grow.
International partnerships and exchanges are embedded with schools around the world, providing staff the opportunity to travel and develop students’ language skills beyond the classroom. This year, the school has been awarded the British Council’s International School’s Award Accreditation in recognition of our commitment to global learning.
We were delighted to be awarded a ‘Good’ rating by Ofsted in June 2018, this recognises the hard work and progress made by all in the school.
Requisitos
The successful candidate should have excellent subject knowledge, a drive to develop a passion for languages and the enthusiasm to support our international ethos.
This post would equally suit an experienced teacher or an early career teacher for whom excellent induction and support is provided.
