The Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Southern Indiana, a public university in Evansville, Indiana, seeks applications for a 9-month tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in Spanish. Appointment will begin Fall 2023.
The Assistant Professor will be expected to teach 12 credit hours per semester, which includes undergraduate and/or graduate departmental course offerings in Spanish, Second Language (L2) Pedagogy and Methodology and/or the Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), and to engage in scholarly activity, professional and university service activities, and advising. The teaching load for this position will be 4/4.
Requisitos
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Spanish or a closely related field. ABD considered at the rank of Instructor if doctoral degree is not conferred by hire date.
