Descripción
The Department of Hispanic Languages & Literature at Stony Brook University invites applications for two full-time Lecturer positions in Spanish for the academic year 2023-24. The position will involve language instruction at the introductory (1st year) levels.
This is a one year appointment. Lecturers teach three courses per semester (Fall and Spring semesters), hold office hours, participate in curriculum development and assessment and in departmental cultural activities.
Requisitos
Required:
- Candidates must have a PhD in a field relevant to the teaching of Spanish.
- Candidates must have experience in teaching Spanish at the university level.
- Candidates must have native or near native fluency in both spoken and written Spanish.
Preferred:
- At least 3 years of university-level teaching experience.
